Visit to Market Bosworth

Our May meeting on Saturday 26th at 2.00pm is a visit to St Peter’s Parish Church, Market Bosworth, at the invitation of the Director of Music, Robert Foreman. The pipe organ has been completely rebuilt as a hybrid instrument with additional electronic stops and a French-style detached console. Light refreshments will be available, so do come along with plenty of music and see and hear what has been achieved.

Parking is always a problem in the village, and so if arriving from the A447 drive into the one way system and in The Square, turn right and then carry straight on with the Red Lion pub on your right. After two hundred yards or so, the church can be seen on the right at the top of a cul-de-sac. Please do not park on this lane. Stay on the main street and park at the kerb along from the Free Church. Alternatively, there is a car park alongside the church grounds that has pedestrian access, but this belongs to the Bosworth Hall Hotel.
